Eric Kim

Born in 19th October 1993, in KL, my parents named me as Kim Thiam. My name is actually pronounced as a Hokkien slang, but in Mandarin, it means adding something to achieve perfection. I believe that because of this, GOD has given me a fantastic, amazing and colourful right hand. Sadly, I never knew how to make full use of it…

As I grew older, I finally realized the potential of this gift. It began on one fine day, when I was casually doodling on a piece of white paper. However, what I casually did turned out to be a surprise for my parents. Because you know why? I drew an Ultraman without referring to other pictures and its proportion and details were considered pretty neat coming from a boy at that age! Since then, I have continued to make artworks from this gifted hand. Thank you, my right hand.
